Peggy Parskey has over 25 years experience
in driving strategic change to
improve organizational and individual performance. She draws upon
varied
disciplines including project management, management of change, human
performance improvement and knowledge management to set program goals,
define success measures and develop tactical plans.
Peggy’s focus and passion over the past five years
has been in the field of
measurement and evaluation. While she was at Hewlett-Packard Company,
Peggy led the development and implementation of strategies, processes,
systems and tools to grow HP’s organizational maturity in training
measurement and evaluation. During her tenure, she drove the accountability
for training quality, resulting in significant improvements in overall
learner
perception of training value, effectiveness and utility.
Simultaneously,
Peggy led the development and implementation of a leading
edge human performance improvement process. Peggy and her team help
expand the role of the Learning & Development function beyond
training to include performance improvement
interventions. Her team developed tools, templates and processes
to guide
training professionals in analyzing clients’ business needs, identifying
the
appropriate suite of solutions, determining outsourcing strategies,
evaluating
vendors and program managing the entire value chain.
Previously,
Peggy launched an award-winning knowledge management
initiative within Hewlett-Packard’s consulting division. This initiative
integrated
knowledge management processes, structures, culture, and technology
into
the organization design and operations of HP Consulting.
Peggy is currently on the Board of Directors of
the Los Angeles Chapter of the
American Society of Training and Development (ASTD). Peggy holds
a
Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Simmons College
and
Masters Degrees from the University of Chicago in Statistics and
Business
Administration. She also is certified in Management of Change
Methodologies both at the organizational and individual performer
levels.
